From Beach to Bar
Summer’s here and with it returns that eternal holiday conundrum: Just how do you transition from gorgeous mermaid on the beach to a classy curl queen in the evening? Well it’s actually a lot easier than you think say the style experts at Umberto Giannini.
The first thing they’re going to tell you is: DON’T over complicate it. Work visually.
When hair is prepped with the right products, it’s easy to work with – and, in this case, the more product the better.
Beach texture spray, Catch a Wave, is great for prepping the hair with as it will give you that effortless tousled effect when you’re going for the beach babe look, but it will also act as a great base if you fancy putting it up in the evening for a more formal look.
The beauty about the Catch a Wave spray is that it contains Coconut Oil, so it isn’t as rough or drying on the hair as I find with other texture sprays. Its’ a softer version and smells yummy too. You can spray this onto wet or dry hair.
When you’re prepping for your evening look, use Curl Whip to reactivate the curls and to encourage more curl into the hair.
Scrunch it into the mid-lengths and ends. Gather hair up into a high bun and use your large bobby pins to secure into place. Pull some curls out for soft feminine feel.
And there you have it – two simple quick looks in one day.
“If the holiday heat means your hair struggles to get body and movement,
pop your head upside down and spray Wonder Lift thicker fuller plumping spray into the lengths and ends.”
