West Midlands Stylist Is Head And Shoulders Above The Rest
From men’s fashion week in Milan to photo shoots in LA, it’s been a busy year for Kieron Fowles, hair stylist and Global Creative Director of Regis.
And there has been more great news for Kieron, who is from the West Midlands, as the stylist has been named as a finalist in The It List, a coveted industry award presented by publication Creative HEAD.
The national competition recognises the most talented, ambitious and creative UK hairdressers aged 30 and under, in six categories.
Kieron is shortlisted in the Fashionista category – demonstrating stand-out skills, original thinking and an awesome determination to succeed.
He is one of five lucky finalists in this category and the winner will be decided at the Grand Final on September 3, which is taking place at London’s Natural History Museum. Each winner will receive a prestigious It List trophy, an exclusive ghd workshop experience and 12 months of coverage in Creative HEAD in print and online.
Kieron said: “The Creative HEAD awards are really well respected in the industry, so I’m delighted to have been selected as a finalist in the Fashionista category. It’s just so nice to have your hard work and creativity recognised by others working alongside you.”
Now in its ninth year The It List is considered the coolest and most credible competition for young British hairdressers. The task of determining the 2018 finalists fell to experts from the worlds of hair, fashion, media and business, including globally-renowned make-up artist Lan Nguyen-Grealis and Marie Claire beauty and style director, Lisa Oxenham.
Creative HEAD editor, Amanda Nottage, adds: “The It List is an unprecedented opportunity for red-hot young talent to be noticed by those who really matter, and see their careers explode as a result.”
