Opened in 2014, one of the leading Brindleyplace restaurants Le Monde Fish Bar and Grill has unfortunately closed its doors for good.
The restaurant announced before Christmas that they were closing for refurbishments but as time went on there was no sign for the doors to re open.
In a Facebook post before Christmas they stated that they will be ‘closed on 01st January till the 22nd January 2017(incl) for a refurbishment of our bar and restaurant.’
When it failed to reopen its doors, after the supposed refurbishment, local customers were saddened that they hadn’t yet reopened.
Director Bob Norton has said that “There was no overriding cause other than the fact that we just weren’t taking enough (money)”
