Mac ‘n’ Cheese Mac Your Own At Holy Moly Macaroni
Following the announcement of Birmingham’s first macaroni restaurant, Holy Moly Macaroni, opening its doors on Saturday 21st July, it can now be revealed that macaroni fanatics will be able to create their very own mac and cheese dishes at the much-anticipated establishment.
With an aim to bring back proper mac to the Midlands, alongside tried and tested authentic macaroni dishes, Holy Moly Macaroni will be giving customers the freedom to pick and choose the toppings that they want added to the signature four-cheese base. To name a few, there’s crispy bacon for the meat eaters, prawns for seafood lovers and wild mushrooms for the vegetarians who like to live on the wild side.
Anthony Duffy, founder and owner Holy Moly Macaroni, comments: “Mac and cheese is real soul food, it helps to bring friends and family together, and that’s what Holy Moly is all about.
“Eating out should be a fun, enjoyable experience so I’m incredibly excited to give my customers the chance to express themselves and customise their own mac for the perfect dish!”
With Harlem-inspired décor, Holy Moly Macaroni will be open daily from 11am-10pm, serving a whole host of hearty food that’s fit for all the family. The menu includes options such as ‘Uptown Mac’, with wild mushrooms and truffle oil, and ‘Shrimp Daddy’, rammed with chunks of smoky chorizo and prawns.
The new Holy Moly Macaroni menu also includes so much more than just mac and cheese. How about classic ‘Chicken and Waffles’ with buttermilk fried chicken, fluffy-on-the-inside waffles and maple syrup? Or ‘Hot Yardbird’ with Cajun-rubbed roasted chicken served with rice, beans and greens – perfect for that weekend protein boost!
With dishes to tantalise the taste buds and soul-movement inspired décor, what better place to visit to not only up your insta-game but taste authentic Harlem food.
