Oxjam Brum Returns For 2018!
Digbeth will be transformed on Saturday, 13 October. Oxjam Brum will be taking over five venues in Birmingham’s creative district to celebrate the best of Birmingham’s independent music scene while raising vital funds for charity.
Oxjam is the music festival that beats poverty. It is made up of hundreds of events around the UK taking place in October all raising money for Oxfam. Each event is organised by music-loving volunteers dedicated to supporting their local music scene, making it the UK’s largest grassroots music festival.
Adam Pyzer, festival manager, said: “Oxjam Brum is shaping up to be something really special.
“We are all so passionate about this whole project and can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on. You won’t want to miss it.”
Venues confirmed so far are the 100% eco club Suki10c, quirky industrial space The Engine Room and new brewery and taproom Dig Brew Co.
Two more venues, along with a whole host of incredible artists, will be announced on our social media platforms very soon. The first wave of artists will be announced next week – Monday, 3 September.
