Resorts World Birmingham is ramping up activity this August
Resorts World Birmingham is gearing up to host a block party on the 12th and 19th August, as it welcomes in street and outdoor culture from skateboarding and BMX workshops, to a surf simulator and DJ.
The road in front of The World Bar terrace will be closing for a variety of thrill-seeking events for both teens and their families – all completely free of charge.
Taking place on Saturday 12th August, between 12pm and 5pm, there will be a mini skate ramp and BMX workshop* on site. Don’t worry if you’re trying the sports for the first-time, an instructor will be on hand to show you the ropes.
If you fancy being more of a spectator, then head to The World Bar where Carharrt will be hosting the terrace. You can grab a drink and soak up the sun, whilst enjoying music from the Carharrt DJ.
Discover whether you were made for land or sea on Saturday 19th August, as you scale the climbing wall or try your hand at surfing with O’Neill as they host our surf simulator. Graffiti artist, The Urbanist will also be customising free t-shirts on a first-come first- served basis.
