The Untold Story Of Ursula The Sea Witch Dives in to Birmingham Hippodrome

Following a sell-out run at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Unfortunate: the untold story of Ursula the Sea Witch reveals all at the Birmingham Hippodrome this December.

The show will play at The Patrick Studio, Birmingham Hippodrome from Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd December 2019.

The brains behind the production, Fat Rascal Theatre, described the show as a tale to “reveal what actually happened under the sea, in a tell-all tale of sex, sorcery and suckers”.

It’s important to note that this is a suggested adults only theatre production, so maybe leave the kids at home for this one.

Take the plunge this Christmas and witness the story of the iconic Little Mermaid character unfold. The queen of Disney villains embodies the perfect feminist figure of 2019. Whilst posters still demand that we are “beach body ready” and in a time where young women continue to be raised on a diet of tiny princesses with disproportionately sized waists, Ursula rebukes every one of these characteristics.
