Cooking Up A Storm At The Recent Nottingham Food & Drink Awards
The finalists of this year’s Nottinghamshire Post’s food and drink awards gathered recently to celebrate the every growing food and drink scene in Nottingham and surrounding areas at the East Midlands conference centre, hosted by Aldo Zilli. This year’s awards were the most competitive since they began! Editor of the Notts Post, Mike Sassi said “It’s going to be the toughest contest yet,”. “A record 3,190 people made almost 7,000 nominations.
George’s Great British Kitchen, located on Queen Street who won the ‘Best New Venue’ category in 2015, beating Annie’s Burger Shack & The Ruddington Arms have again been recognised as one of most unique and exciting restaurants to visit in Nottingham, winning the ‘Best City Centre Experience’ category at this year’s awards, beating Iberico and Zaap!
Managing Director, Andrew Constantinou said “We are absolutely delighted to be named as Nottingham’s best city centre experience, and to win for the second year running in such prestigious awards within the ever growing and exciting Nottingham food & drink scene is something we are all extremely proud of.
