Handmade Nottingham Market Coming This Weekend
Get ready for Handmade Nottingham Markets! Originally Bird in Borrowed Feathers Markets, the new Handmade Nottingham Market will be held on the 14th August from 11 am -5 pm at Malt Cross, 16 St James Street.
Handmade Nottingham’s shop began in November 2014 as a pop up shop attached to Malt Cross. After an amazing response the organisers made the decision to become permanent and since then the shop has grown from strength to strength.
We are proud to support local designers regardless of experience or medium and have a real joy in helping these
businesses grow as independent designer makers within Handmade Nottingham.
The Market will be taking over Malt Cross Music Hall and filling it with 20+ designer maker stalls from Nottingham and beyond! There will be an amazing range handmade gifts, home wares and accessories as well as street vendor style food by Malt Cross.
Rhea Clements, Manager of Handmade Nottingham shop, shared her excitement for a growing St James Street. “It is great to see St James’ Street becoming a real destination for independent businesses. Since opening Handmade Nottingham Shop 18 months ago, next door to Malt Cross, it has been lovely to see new additions to the street including Pop Press, Plates Records and soon to move in Dukki Designs. I can not wait to add Handmade Nottingham Markets to the street and continue to make St James street a real destination for independent shopping.”
