intu Derby calls for real people to front SS17 fashion campaign
This year intu Derby are looking for real people across the local Derbyshire community to front the centre’s spring summer fashion campaign, designed to celebrate real fashion for real people.
On Thursday 9th March intu Derby’s Fashion Roadshow hit the streets on a mission to help solve the fashion dilemmas of real people from across the region.
The intu Fashion SOS team targeted four key locations across Derbyshire, including Ashbourne, the University of Derby, Market Place in the Cathedral Quarter and in centre at intu Derby, where locals were able to share their fashion SOS to be in with the chance of becoming one of ten faces to front this year’s spring summer fashion campaign at intu Derby.
The Roadshow team were inundated with a diverse mix of fashion SOS requests:
“an outfit for date night”
“anything that’s not black!”
“mother of the bride outfit”
“help to look like I’ve not just had a baby!”
The final ten will receive a full style makeover by a top stylist and get to keep their SOS outfit, provided by in centre retailers, that answers their style dilemma.
The ten finalists will then take part in a photo shoot, with their makeover images forming part of intu Derby’s in centre spring summer fashion exhibition.
Although the Fashion Roadshow was a one day only event, entries are welcome until Wednesday 15th March when intu Derby’s fashion SOS competition closes.
To enter, locals are being asked to submit a close up style photo of themselves holding a piece of paper with their fashion SOS written down. Photos can be submitted via social media by tagging @intuDerby using the #intuFashionSOS, via email at [email protected].
intu Derby’s fashion SOS competition will close on Wednesday 15th March.
The final 10 must be available for a photoshoot on Wednesday 29th March.
