Intu takes to the streets to find new local faces of fashion

Derbyshire locals are set to turn heads this autumn, as intu Derby returns with another fashion campaign with real people at its forefront.

The campaign is designed to showcase how key Autumn Winter17 fashion trends are accessible for everyone, no matter what age, gender or body type.

The intu Derby fashion team will once again be embarking on a roadshow around the county with stops at Ashbourne, Burton, and intu Derby itself, to find real people to get involved.

Everyone will be invited to have a spin of the “Trend Wheel”, which will showcase both the women’s and menswear key trends for the season, and give shoppers an opportunity to be styled by intu in the chosen trend.

10 finalists will be picked to represent the true diversity of Derbyshire, and will be given a makeover by top stylists, styled in an outfit provided by centre retailers to represent the trend picked by the Trend Wheel.

The ten finalists will take part in a photo shoot, with their makeover images forming part of intu Derby’s in-centre autumn winter fashion exhibition.

The womenswear trends the centre is focusing on this season are: Space Age, Forties Blue, Soft Leather, Seeing Red, Rave On, That Seventies Show, Textures, Business Class.

Menswear trends are: Sports Luxe, Check Mate, Earth Tones, Brights, Strike a Cord, Dressed Down Tailoring.

For the chance to get involved, shoppers are being urged to join the intu Derby fashion team at one of their roadshow locations:

Friday 8th September

intu Derby, level 2 – 10:00am-4:00pm

Saturday 9th September

Ashbourne Civic Square – 10am – 12pm

Burton, Station Street off High Street – 1pm – 3pm
