Let Us Introduce you to Skinny Prosecco at Harvey Nichols
Ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to Skinny Prosecco. Yes, you read that correctly. Guilt-free drinking really is a thing, and you can stock up on this little gem at Harvey Nichols now.
With fewer calories per glass than an apple, this latest must-have drink is perfect for ladies who lunch (while watching their waistline, of course) or as a dinner party talking point.
Skinny Prosecco is made from grapes grown on the south-facing slopes in the foothills of the Dolomites, close to Soligo, north east Italy. With only 7grams of sugar per litre and just 67 calories per glass, it has less than 50% of the usual sugar content added in the production process. It is also organic and vegan-friendly.
The brainchild of Amanda Thomson, Skinny Prosecco is aimed at the next generation of wine lovers looking for top quality while caring about what goes into their glass.
“My mission is to be completely open about what we’re drinking and cut sugar where it’s not needed,” she explains. “We’re not counting calories, but we share them for transparency. I want people to drink better and cleaner.”
Having been raised on a vegan, no-sugar diet, Amanda has always had healthy living in her DNA. After a career as an Arts Broadcaster at the BBC, she moved to Paris and studied for a Diploma in Wine at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu School. She created Thomson & Scott to answer her own question: when you have top quality grapes, a talented winemaker and great conditions, why add unnecessary sugar to the process? We think Skinny Prosecco proves it certainly can be done.
Skinny Prosecco is available from the Harvey Nichols Wine Shop in the luxury Mailbox store, priced at £18 and £40 for a magnum.
