The Indian Sausage Company Sizzles up the Brum Street Food Scene

Brummies beware.  The Indian Sausage Company have arrived in Birmingham to sizzle up the street food scene with their unique brand of Desi Hot Dogs.

These aren’t just any normal hot dogs, these are the Crufts of hot dogs, ‘Spiced Dogs’ in a choice of pork, chicken or veggie. The hot dogs are cooked right before your eyes on a flame grilled BBQ, served up in a white roll and a choice of 3 toppings – each topping suits your level of spice – the Indian ‘chilli’ dog, the Cheeky Chicken Tikka Masala, Mellow Makhani or have it plain with the Naked One to simply enjoy the tasty sausage itself.

Has there ever been something so audacious than your favourite summertime classic, with a hot and spicy kick to spice up your life?!

We enjoyed their signature Punjabi Banger, a top quality Lashford Sausage mixed with a secret blend of Punjabi spices.  Topped with delightfully tasty keema, this is The Indian Sausage Company’s take on the Chilli Dog.  This spiced lamb mince is slow cooked in a delish tomato and onion sauce base and is a mouthwateringly delightful choice.

Next trip we are going to have the Friction’ Chicken,  a juicy chicken sausage. The other toppings sound just as good. Starting from the Mellow Makhani, its just a duvet of velvety goodness. Everyone’s favourite and needs no introduction …. The Cheeky Chicken Tikka Masala, just creamy heaven on your sausage!

If you want a quick, but top pedigree lunch, then visit the Indian Sausage Company this month at the Mailbox underpass. They are camped up for the Birmingham City Social event running from 3rd of May until the 28th of May. Visitors can enjoy DJs, street food and cocktail bars, not to mention the Pimms and gin stalls. So head to the underpass, hang out in a deck chair and enjoy the buzz of energy, and of course the bangers, at City Social.

Open from 12pm until 7pm every day and until 10pm at weekends.
