Looking for the latest make-up looks and beauty trends? Selfridges Birmingham invites beauty lovers to luxuriate in some much-needed pampering and pick up some amazing tips from leading experts at two deluxe events this month.
The department store’s House of Beauty is hosting an evening of indulgence on Thursday, May 18, as part of its Our House events, a deluxe celebration of the rituals of home and comfort.
Beauty lovers will be able to enjoy a huge range of activities across the beauty departments, including 15-minute make-up masterclasses from the Chanel team, summer skin workshops at Clarins, and eye-perfection sessions from RMK.
Estee Lauder will be offering skin pampering sessions and arm and hand massages, while Charlotte Tilbury will focus on red carpet skin to create an uptown girl look.
On the same evening, Tatler is inviting readers to join its beauty editors in-store for an “In Conversation with Francesca White and Jennifer George”. Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to learn top beauty tips from these two respected beauty editors and find out about the top ten beauty must haves, selected from the Tatler and Selfridges Beauty Awards.
Shoppers will also have the chance to meet the M.A.C experts and discover some best kept beauty secrets. The M.A.C senior makeup artists, Cher Webb, Dominic Skinner, Claire Mulleady and Deb Finnegan will be in Selfridges Birmingham to share the latest beauty trends, innovative new techniques and ultimate must have products, offering shoppers a ‘one on one’ makeup experience tailored just for you.
Sam Watts, general manager at Selfridges Birmingham, said: “Our showcase beauty event is the ideal opportunity to get together with friends and spend an evening learning about new products, trying out new ranges and picking up tips from our resident beauty experts. Tickets are already selling like hot cakes, so it promises to be a great occasion.”
Tickets for the beauty event, which takes place between 5pm and 9pm, cost £15 and are fully redeemable against products purchased during the evening. You’ll also receive a luxury goodie bag.

The Tatler event takes place 6.30-8pm, enabling attendees to attend the Our House beauty event afterwards. Tickets costs £20 and is fully redeemable against any beauty product purchased on the evening.
