Solihull-based nail experts Semilac UK are reporting record sales (20% up on previous shows) after making strong connections with leading professtionals at the Beauty UK event at the NEC.

Semilac UK provides a huge range of hybrid nail polishes nationwide. With over 170 colours, Semilac combines gel, nail polish and UV technology to create a unique, durable and salon quality look. Alongside UV gel polishes, Semilac also offers an extensive range of salon accessories.

The hottest sellers were Semilac’s all inclusive starter kits and the new SemiFlash range – a unique powder which gives technicians a colour changing, mirrored chrome finish for the very latest designer nail effect. It is also incredibly easy to apply and brings a welcome touch of everyday glamour.

Local glamour model/mum Danielle Lloyd, who is Semilac’s brand ambassador, visited the show to reinforce the message that busy and active women need beautifully strong nails they can rely on, without compromising on quality or durability. She chose from Semilac’s impressive range of 170 colours before having a manicure herself.

Danielle, who is soon to be a mother of four, commented: “Semilac is an amazing product because it lasts so much longer than any others I’ve tried! I can do everything with my children from baking to messy crafts and my nails still look perfect. I’m really proud to be associated with a local business that has such great potential.”

These popular products helped Semilac achieve its best ever day for sales and Semilac UK Director, Monika Shine, commented: “Our brand has almost three quarters of the market share in Poland and this event has helped us showcase why Semilac deserves to be a household name in the UK as well. We really got the word out that we can give women a product as strong as they are, because our hybrid nail polish lasts up to three weeks – without chipping or smudging.”

The Semilac technicians also wowed beauty tutors from South Staffordshire College, who are now planning to use Semilac starter kits for their Nail Technology course starting in September. Around 35 students will be taught by fully qualified technicians in commercial beauty salons in Cannock and Tamworth.

Another tasteful Semilac selection on offer at Beauty UK was the Flavours Collection, serving up nine opaque shades from Lavender and Grey Pepper to Strawberry Blue and Kaymak Sweet, plus it provides superior performance and requires no maintenance.
