Young Volunteers Wanted: Love Music * Love Events * Hate Racism

2Funky Arts are looking for volunteers, aged 16-20, who are interested in gaining experience as events organisers and music promoters.

Participants will help plan and promote a benefit music seminar and performance, aimed at tackling racism through music. The seminar will feature a guest panel alongside a high profile artist, and the performance will include local artists and a headliner.

The project, which has been funded by the Youth Social Action Programme, will allow young people to enhance their CVs, get involved in social action, and support a good cause.

Training for volunteers will take place on Thursdays, 6-8pm, from 17 August 2017, at 2Funky Music Café (New Park St, Leicester, LE3 5NH). It will include Arts Award accreditation and will finish in November 2017.
