Benito’s Hat Announce New Opening In Leicester
Grab your sombreros, Leicester, because all-fiesta-no-siesta burrito joint Benito’s Hat is setting down foundations at Highcross Leicester. Opening on Wednesday 6th June at 12pm, the new hub for Mexican food in the East Midlands city will be offering the first 100 customers a burrito free of charge, because mi casa es tu casa!
Staying true to its values and quality, Benito’s Hat Leicester promises to bring all of its classic Mexicana charm but this time in a more accessible grab-and-go format. For those that fancy sticking around, the venue will also offer seating outside in the summer sun, ideal for enjoying the brand new evening menu available after 5pm every day.
On the menu guests will find the mouth-watering burritos the brand are now trusted for, as well as tacos, quesadillas and salads, all freshly prepared using authentic ingredients and methods. Check out the salsa, guacamole and tortilla chips, which as always, are made fresh on site every day. Filling options include fan-favourite grilled steak as well as grilled chicken (halal) and super-slow braised pork. Leicester will also be the first of Benito’s eight restaurants to offer the brand new filling – Jalapeño Tofu – perfect for Leicester’s herbivores. Benito’s infamous margaritas will also be making a much anticipated appearance as part of the drinks menu, the ideal accompaniment for turning that feast into a fiesta!
Whilst visiting on any day of the week will be an incredible experience for those taste buds, visiting on a Tuesday or Wednesday will definitely be an appreciated experience for those wallets… On every Tuesday in June starting on the 12th, guests can enjoy tacos for only £1 each* – that’s right, the capital’s #TacoTuesdays are heading to the East Midlands! Further penny-saving fun is to be had on Wednesdays when students can enjoy a decent 30% off their meal when showing their student card. Of course no weekend would be complete without the addition of a bottomless brunch! For £22.95pp guests can tuck into as many tacos and margaritas as they can handle over a two hour period.
