Could you be the next Miss Leicestershire?

We’re partnering up with Miss England to help find the next Miss Leicestershire!

We all obsess about beauty and body image and we’re all guilty watchers of TV shows such as Love Island where the quest for the perfect physique is propagated.  But it isn’t just a recent thing: Miss England have been scouring the country for the most beautiful women (and occasional men) for the past twenty years – and this time they’re teaming up with SIXTY9 in Leicester to find Miss Leicestershire 2019.

The reigning Miss Leicestershire crown is currently held by performing arts teacher and performer Hannah Davies who competed in the East Midlands heat of Miss England on Saturday 24th March 2018 at the stunning Kelham Hall & Country Park in Kelham,

Hannah then gained a place in the Miss England Grand Final 2019 where she competed against 50 other title holders! Afters months of hard work leading up to the grand final, the hard work paid off as she was crowned Miss Talent 2019 and was also in the final Top 20 for the running to become Miss England 2019!

Hannah said “ I started dancing at the age of 3 at Ann Oliver Stage School. I have always had a passion for performing, and dancing and Ann Oliver’s gave me the opportunity to express myself and grow as a performer!  I auditioned for LCPA which is a performing arts Diploma in 2012 and graduated in 2015!

I danced as part of my entry for the Miss Talent round and I honestly felt over the moon when I won the title! It feels like, everything I’ve worked for since I was 3 years old and all the training I have put myself through really paid off and I was so proud of myself!

Since then I have had the opportunity of touring the world as a dancer and seeing all the amazing countries and different sights the world has to offer! It is just incredible!”

Since winning Miss Leicestershire and Miss Talent, Hannah has achieved some incredible lifetime experiences that she will cherish for a very long time including raising money for charities such as Hope Against Cancer, BWAP, Loros, The Sick Children’s Trust, Rainbows and so many more!

She  also been to various events throughout the year such as the Lord Mayors Celebration Dinner with former title holder Mr Leicestershire – Grant Cotton.

Hannah also had the privilege of raising awareness about these charities and the Miss England competition with TakeOver Radio and also hosted RSPCA’s Pet Fest 2018!

Hannah says“ One of the most incredible experiences I have done throughout this competition was a charity Skydive, where she and her friend Jack Bryan plummeted 12,000 ft through the air and together raised £700 for the Hope against Cancer Charity”

Hannah looks forward to helping the next Miss Leicestershire succeed who will be crowned at Miss England Semi finals on the 31st May at the Leicester Tigers Stadium.
