LEICESTER VEGAN FESTIVAL TO OFFER ONE STOP VEGAN SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

This year’s Leicester Vegan Festival is set to be a real inspiration to those thinking about going vegan or wanting to try vegan food for the first time. This fun family event, taking place on Sunday 18th October, is for everyone to enjoy whether you’re flexitarian, veggie, vegan or a meat eater. It features everything the aspiring vegan could wish for, including a mouth-watering selection of global vegan food, the latest vegan fashions, beauty products and amazing gifts…

Held at Athena Conference & Banqueting venue in the city’s Cultural Quarter, this unique celebration of all things vegan features over 80 vegan stalls and catering from VDogs, who’ll be offering delicious freshly cooked to order vegan hotdogs, Greek Vegan Deli and an irresistible range of vegan pizzas from Those Vegan Pizza Guys.

There will also be a wide range of vegan food and drink stalls featuring mouth watering selections from Baked By Neelu, Clemie’s Vegan Cakes, Cococheesecakes, Good Karma Foods and There’s No Whey. Tyne Chease will be offering their delicious range of artisan organic cultured vegan cheeses to try and buy and Vork Pie will be offering an irresistible array of vegan ‘pork’ pies.

The event will also feature doTerra essential oils and supplements; LYF Cosmetics; Moksha Senses for the body, bath and home; Eco Yabber – unique and innovative, eco and environmentally friendly clothing, beauty, healthcare, stationary and giftware; and Tropic Skin Care with Janey. And visitors will have the chance to buy the latest vegan clothing and accessories, including face masks, from Bamboofeet, Native Kanza, OMishka, Vegan Slogan Clothing and Viva La Vegan.

Various prominent organisations and charities will also be taking part including leading animal welfare charity, Miracle’s Mission, which helps animals worldwide, starting with their rescue, neuter and education programme in Borneo, Malaysia, providing stray animals with safety, comfort and health. Animals Asia Foundation, Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd UK, TheWoodland Trust and Viva!, plus Leicester Vegetarian & Vegan Group will also feature.

There will also be a chance to find out about VFest UK, a huge new vegan camping event for 2021, featuring outdoor activities, live shows, headline acts, celebrity chefs, global speakers, amazing stalls, international food caterers and more.

The Leicester Vegan Festival takes place on Sunday 18th October 2020, from 10.30am to 4.30pm at Athena Conference & Banqueting, Queen Street, Leicester, LE1 1QD. Entry is £4 payable on the day (under 16’s free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite, which includes a fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.
