A Modern Cut Above, Everyman Barbers Opens It’s Doors In Leicester.

Leicester Welcomes Modern Grooming With Everyman Barbers

A new modern Everyman Barbers has opened on Horsefair Street in Leicester’s city centre.

Everyman Barbers invested around £150,000 in their store, which boasts ten leather barbers’ chairs, free beer, gaming stations, rolling live sports and a large comfortable waiting area.

The launch on Thursday (30th March) was celebrated in style as customers were offered a range of fine whiskies, champagne, cold beers — and live jazz and blues played by a talented double bass player.

Managing director Noel Gilronan says that opening up in Leicester was always part of his expansion plans.

“Leicester is a great city with a fairly large population,” says Gilronan. “There’s nothing in the city quite like an Everyman, that offers men a proper comfortable, professional space to get a haircut — which is something women have had for many years now.”

The large bespoke wooden mirrors offset racing green two-tone leather barbers’ chairs that have been stylishly emblazoned with the brand’s logo. Other modern features include free wifi, massage chairs on the wash basins, and USB charging points.

Also available is the popular Everycam, a live camera feed which allows customers to check how busy a store is or to see if their favourite barber is working.

“It’s 2017 and we want to stay at the forefront of our industry,” Gilronan adds.

Everyman Barbers offer students and local companies 20% discount off services, while other customers are rewarded for their loyalty through Everyman Barbers’ mobile app, which after collecting six stamps, they can get 50% off a haircut.

Everyman Barbers currently have stores in Birmingham, Bristol, Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester .
