Gerry Cinnamon announces biggest tour yet
Glasgow artist Gerry Cinnamon answered calls from fans and surprised them with a run of UK and Ireland Arena dates who missed out on his previous sold-out shows.
When announcing the November tour, Cinnamon teased his new release Canter, with his anticipated single expected to drop this Friday. His tour will commence on 1st November in Belfast and finish in Newcastle Upon-Tyne on 16th November,
His live shows are infamous for it’s wild atmosphere and special sing-along moments to every song, even before they are released. In 2018, he sold out every date on his first UK and Ireland tour, with 2019 set to be even bigger and better. Cinnamon kicked off his tour with two-sold out shows in Amsterdam before heading out on his tour in March 2019.
Cinnamon’s music crosses generations as his lyrics are relevant and relatable. His atmospheric tracks, combined with social commentary has captured the imagination of audiences across the country. From recording songs on his phone, to releasing his debut album Erratic Cinematic which hit the Top 20 and gained more than 70 million streams on Spotify.
Talking about his upcoming tour, Cinnamon said: “The live shows have become something pretty special. There’s something happening, I don’t know what it is but its happening, you can feel it, its undeniable.”
Cinnamon is more than an artist, but a phenomenon who is carving a way for the next generation of musical pioneers.
On new music, Cinnamon said: “The new single Canter is one of those songs, upbeat, bit of energy to it and a wee bit of knowledge for the ears of anyone who needs it.”
The awards, the sold out shows and the reaction to his debut album has not only exceeded him to the next level, but has affirmed his place as a writer, as well as a live act.
