Georgie Announces Surprise Nottingham Gig
GEORGIE is delighted to announce a surprise intimate appearance at The Jam Cafe, Nottingham on 14th March 2018 as she launches her ‘Too Much TV’ EP.
Capping off a series of dates in which she has played some of the UK’s most capacious halls including the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall and the London Palladium (in support of Jake Bugg), the Mansfield troubadour will be returning home to play a venue a little cosier than what she’s been used to of late.
Something of an old haunt, Georgie will be appearing as the featured artist at a special edition of the The Jam Cafe’s regular open mic night that is held at the venue every Wednesday.
Lifting the lid on the show, Georgie says:
“Super excited and happy to be playing a few songs at Jam Cafe for the release of my EP Too Much TV. It’s great to finish the tour with Jake Bugg and come back home and play Jam Cafe. It’s a special place for me. I used to play here many of times I think the first time I played here I was 16 so that’s 6/7 years ago now! Since then I played countless times and danced there countless times. So its lovely to come back! – Gx”
Wowing audiences across the country these last few weeks, Georgie has been performing tracks from her confident new EP ‘Too much TV’. Featuring three brand new songs including title track “Too Much TV”, “Be the Fire” and the Mathew E White-produced live favourite “Wildcat”, the EP highlights her rich, powerful vocals and deft songwriting. The EP is available to stream now, with CD copies also to be available at the Jam Cafe launch show.
