The Lizards

This Birmingham quartet carry a laid back attitude that flows into their mystical guitar riffs. Heavily influenced by 60’s psychedelic vibes, their timeless music will have you hooked.

Cameron, Dan, Liam and Harry have certainly established themselves in the psychedelic band scene after the release of their trippy video for debut single Houdini, released late last year. The band has since toured with the likes of Swim Deep and had their single aired on BBC Radio 1.

Grawlix

If you haven’t heard of multi-instrumentalist James Machin yet then where have you been?! Lucky enough for you we are here to help get you in the know. With a trio of albums already under his belt, Grawl!x explores the five stages of grief through his music making his ambient, acoustic sound compelling and somewhat soothing.

His utter talent shines through as he effortlessly makes a sinister subject matter a true work of art. Accompanied with his live band, Garwl!x have performed in an array of churches with the colossal space beautifully complimenting the band’s sound.

Dan wright

Acoustic singer/songwriter Dan Wright is taking his hometown of Leicester by storm. This hopeful new artist is no stranger to the music scene having played shows around the UK for the past four years.

Inspired by his travels, Dan released his EP “Lyrics on a postcard” early last year and has since played various festivals across the Midlands telling a story thorough his plethora of songs written from the heart. Opening for acts such as Nothing but Thieves and Catfish and the Bottlemen we predic t big things lie ahead for this artist. Make a note of the name in your diaries and look out for more music in the future.

April towers

April Towers have stormed their way onto the alternative/ indie music scene and rightfully so as this dynamic duo boast more than 170,000 Spotify listeners. The band prides themselves on their live performances providing mesmerising visuals whilst offering their audience a release from the outside world.

Following a successful year in 2016, duo Charlie and Alex are already back in the studio producing fresh new music for 2017. These guys are definitely a must see act! Keep your eyes peeled for the release of tour dates in the near future as we’re sure tickets will sell like hot cakes.

Jimmy amnesia

Take some Indie music, mix in a bit of rock, sprinkle a bit of punk and throw in a bit of Britpop cause why the hell not! This magical concoction leads us to five piece band – Jimmy Amnesia. These local Leicester lads carry a Kasabian-esque vibe with guitar riffs that are sure to get under your skin and stuck in your head.

The band have played shows in Leicester and Loughborough and we don’t suspect it’s long until they sweep the nation with their catchy lyrics and likeable character expressed through their creative music videos.

Hankks

Brothers James and Harry Davison teamed up with friends Ben James and Jacob Evitts to form guitar driven indie rock band – HANKKS. Named after a famous Hollywood star, this dynamic and unique group possesses the perfect blend of raw vocals and lively percussion which is sure to get you on your feet.

Taking inspiration from the likes of The Charlatans and Franz Ferdinand the fresh, quirky beats their music inherits makes them one to watch on the current music scene.

haggard cat bothday present

Nottingham is the home of Robin Hood, Players Cigarettes and now Tom Marsh and Matt Reynolds. This blues duo have been around for a few years now but after the release of their debut album – Charger, the hypnotizing blues-rock sound they acquire has earned them a respected name for themselves on the current music scene.

Their live shows are packed full of ground shaking noise that is enough to make you think this vivacious duo were a quartet. If you go along to a live show expect to see endless instrument swapping and hyped up crowds that are sure to make even the smallest of venues come alive.

unqualified nurse band

Vicious flares of garage rock mixed with audacious rock and roll is Derby trio Unqualified Nurse Band. Rightfully earning their spot as one of the UK’s most hopeful bands, they released their debut album late last year packed full of electric records that bring a new ounce of powerful character to the stage.

The trio have a bright future ahead with heaps of potential and bring something new to the rock scene through their exploration of the depths of rock and rolls history and making it their own.
