Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls @ The Y Leicester, 8pm – 11pm
During TheWonder Stuff’s year out in 2007 front man Miles Hunt and violinist EricaNockalls released their debut album together ‘Not An Exit’. A 10 datetour quickly turned into an 18 month tour. In 2009 Miles & Erica were backin the studio to record the follow up album. Touring continued around the globenotching up no less than 150 shows in 2012.
This summer the most travelled duo in indie rock will be playing songs from both Miles& Erica’s and The Wonder Stuff’s extensive catalogue interspersed withtales from the road and recent musings.
Omar LIVE in Leicester @ 2Funky Music Café, 7pm – 11pm
Designated by many as the father of British neo-soul, singer/songwriter/producer Omar began as one of the U.K.’s most promising R&B hopefuls with his early-’90s international hit “There’s Nothing Like This.” Unintentionally avoiding pop stardom, he chose never to compromise his artistic credibility, and because of that, people like India.Arie, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Gilles Peterson, and his biggest idol, Stevie Wonder, are all personal fans (with the prior three naming him an influence). Although he gets thrown into the R&B category, Omar has no real definitive boundaries.

DJ Q – All Night @ Stealth, Nottingham, 10pm – 5am
Following the reception to his all night long sets in London and Birmingham, DJ Q takes things one step further and goes All Night, All Week, with sets from doors open until close 7 times in a week, with around 40 hours of DJing across 7 days.
Only an elite level talent like Q could pull this off, expect the depths of his catalogues across the whole spectrum of UK Garage, House, Grime and of course Bassline!

DJ SS (Jungle Anthems Set) meets SULLY @ The Shed, 10pm – 4am
GRADE 10 & KONTAKT will be taking over both rooms of the recently refurbished venue with a mix of Jungle, Grime, UKG, Bass Driven House, Dub, Techno, DnB and Bass Music featuring the legendary Formation Records label owner and producer of some of the biggest Jungle anthems ever made DJ SS for an exclusive ‘1994/95 Jungle Anthems Set’ plus the underground bass mussic legend SULLY aka Jack Stevens a low key elusive bass producer with a fiercely passionate fanbase who found a space between 2step’s swing, dubstep’s edge and breakstep’s drums, all underpinned by the rude spirit of jungle that could touch people as much as the ruff sub bass could hit them.
