On a Roll! Belgrade Theatre Launches Vegan Menu
Committed herbivores can will now be able to have their cake and eat it in the Belgrade Theatre café, thanks to a host of vegan food options introduced this summer.
Alongside a changing Vegan Dish of the Day, the Belgrade will now be serving up vegan-friendly alternatives to all of its favourite lunchtime classics, including jacket spuds, toasties, sausage batches – and of course, the Holy Grail of meat-free snacking, the Vegan Sausage Roll.
The new menu includes:
Vegan Hot Dish of the Day
Vegan Sausage Rolls
Vegan Sausage Baps
Vegan Cheese Toastie
Vegan Cheese and Tomato Toastie
Vegan Cheese and Onion Toastie
Jacket Potato with Vegan Cheese and Beans
Vegan Chocolate Cake
After something a little more fancy? The Belgrade’s recently introduced Tapas menu includes marinated olives, homemade hummus and avocado hummus, and ciabatta bread with oil and vinegar.
For those with a sweet tooth, there’s also a Vegan Afternoon Tea option, including vegan scones served with coconut cream, a selection of miniature cakes and finger sandwiches.
With these brand new vegan choices joining an existing range of pre-packed snacks, fruit and a self-serve salad bar, the Belgrade certainly isn’t living in the pastie. So whether you’re after a bit to eat before a show, or just looking for somewhere to grab lunch with family and friends, join us to raise a toastie to meat- and dairy-free dining.
