The World Famous Zoo Project Ibiza Lands in Nottingham

If you frequent to the Island of Ibiza you’re probably familiar with The Zoo Project. The party is known around the world not only for it’s world class DJs and special guests but it’s famous location. A derelict Zoo transformed into another a world, a party like no other. Over the years the event has grown, they now have over 6000 party goers a week enter through their doors over the Summer Season.

The Midlands based club brand discotech will host The Zoo Project in Nottingham. A first for the city not only for Zoo but for discotech. discotech has hosted events across the UK and Europe working with the likes of Sankeys (Manchester), The Rainbow Rooms (Birmingham), EGG (London) and The Zoo Project in Ibiza. Previous special guests of the party include Adam Shelton, Subb-an, Alex Arnout, Clive Henry (DC10), Laura Jones and FUSE London’s Seb Zito to name a few.

‘discotech has and always will be about the music, a great crowd and people coming together to share amazing experiences… In many ways our ethos is very similar to Zoo. We’ve been blessed to play for them out in Ibiza and worked with the party for many years. When you enter Zoo Project you enter another world, releasing your wild side. The venue itself is renowned for its decor, dancers and performers who make the event just as unique and special as the music itself. It’s this concept that made the party a obvious choice for discotech’s first event in Nottingham’ – Jordan Diston (discotech resident DJ and promoter).

This will be a very intimate 250 capacity event. The Red Bar will be completely transformed into a Jungle Cave along with performers, dancers, animals and a VOID Acoustics Sound system. The soundtrack of the night will be provided by Eddie Richards who was recently famed by Mixmag as the creator of tech house, his Wiggle label is supported by the likes of Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and many more and Zoo Project Residents Milou and Lee Pennington.
