The Goddess Tantric Massage Parlour

A Peek behind the Velvet Curtain of a London Tantric Massage Parlour! Outrageous one-woman sitcom by comedian and writer Jacqueline Haigh, based on her true experiences of working as a receptionist in a West London Tantric Massage parlour. Jacqueline went for a job as a receptionist in a “clinic” but when she saw the leopard skin sofa and women dressed as sexy Goddesses, she realised that it wasn’t quite what she had expected!
21st February @ 11am @ The Attenborough Arts Centre, Lancaster Road, Leicester LE1 7HA
Winner of “Best Children’s Show on the Fringe” in Manchester last year, this is the show where you might find out how Morris dancing was invented, and more importantly, why. Or how the Baron saved the Isle of Skye from sinking. Or what happened when the Loch Ness monster got married. The show features award winning comedians who are challenged by one another to invent outrageously exaggerated swashbuckling stories based on The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. All they have is their wits, some silly hats, and the suggestions of an audience of giggling children (and their grown ups) to ensure that all ends happily ever after.
23rd February @ 6pm @ Kayal
When Charmian was eight years old, her big sister took her to see the Hammer Horror film SHE- which taught her something very important – you can set out to be a good girl, but it’s the bad girls that get remembered – and the baddest of them all is ‘SHE’, the ancient vengeful goddess-queen inside us all- (even the blokes)- When grown-up Charmian bumps into an old boyfriend AND the famous Colossal Squid, she has to face her own demons of jealousy, repulsion and obsession. A stand up show about holding a torch for someone…and a grudge!
