Disney Store set to open at intu Derby
Disney Store is set to open a new pop-up store at intu Derby at the end of March, just in time for the Easter holidays. Bringing with it a full range of official Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise, the fun-filled space will appeal to children and grown-ups alike. The new store will be located on level 1.
Visitors will be able to get their hands on a range of products at Disney Store from toys and collectibles, to clothing, homeware and costumes. The new store will showcase exclusive content from Walt Disney World including the 3pm parade shown daily, plus seasonal events, beginning with Easter events in April. With more than 40 stores nationwide, Disney Store is the latest premium retailer to arrive at intu Derby.
Adam Tamsett, general manager at intu Derby, said: “The opening of Disney Store at intu Derby is a real highlight for the centre. We think it will prove exceptionally popular with visitors and we are thrilled to add Disney to our retail mix.
“Several high profile brands have chosen to invest in Derby and we have welcomed BOSS, Hobbs and Skechers over the last few months and Whistles is also set to open soon. We are working hard to ensure that we have a wide breadth of offer so that we appeal to everyone, from families who want to spend the day with us, to those popping in after work.”
Mike Stagg, SVP Franchise and Disney Store at The Walt Disney Company, commented: “We’re thrilled to be opening a new pop-up store at intu Derby. Guests can find exclusive Disney favourites, including Frozen 2 and Toy Story, as well as all things Disney Princess, Star Wars and Marvel. Inspired by The Mandalorian, showing exclusively on Disney+ this March, we will also have a range of lines from global phenomenon, The Child, affectionately referred to as ‘Baby Yoda’, as well as our upcoming studio releases, Disney’s Mulan and Pixar’s Onward. Disney Store remains the number one destination for families and gift givers to experience that Disney magic and we look forward to welcoming guests in-store”
