Nottingham’s new Bierkeller Entertainment Complex has it all for beer lovers, sports fans and culture seekers!

Opening to the public on the 17th March 2017, Nottingham’s Bierkeller Entertainment Complex (BEC) on Friar Lane just off the Old Market Square, will be the go-to place on a night out, boasting three individually themed bars within a single venue.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the traditional Bavarian-themed Bierkeller, the Around the World Bar celebrating beers from across the globe, and a sports fan’s dream – the Shooters Bar.

Bierkeller, located within the basement level of the venue, will celebrate all things Bavaria with live Oompah shows on a Friday and Saturday night, traditional German beers and hearty food straight from the tables of a traditional German feast.

BEC’s shrine for paying homage to sport, Shooters Bar, will boast a screen measuring 5 metres by 2.5 metres – making it the unrivaled title holder of the largest screen in the city. So whether it’s football, rugby, boxing or test cricket that gets the adrenaline pumping, fans will be in seventh heaven.

The Around The World bar will celebrate a broad spectrum of beers and cocktails from across the globe – stocking over 100 beers and ciders from over 33 different countries, as well as a vast range of wines and cocktails. As part of this worldwide offering, Nottingham’s very own Castle Rock Brewery will be represented, with several home-grown tipples available on tap for those wanting to experience the world in a glass!

Customers at any of the three bars will be able to tuck into a menu packed with classic dishes – from pizzas and burgers to hot dogs, flatbreads and nachos.

Sean Cullen, General Manager at BEC Nottingham is excited by the impending arrival of the chain’s latest venue, saying “Nottingham has several themed bars and pubs in its portfolio already, but nothing similar to Bierkeller.” He continued, “we have everything under one roof at Bierkeller, so we are confident that it will be a big hit”.
