FREE ONLINE PRINT MAKING FESTIVAL THIS NOVEMBER

Leicester Print Workshop (LPW) will be taking their Leicester Print Fair virtual for the first time this weekend with 28 artists from all over the UK coming together online to sell their work.

Leicester Print Fair presents a perfect opportunity to Christmas shop during Lockdown, to purchase something beautiful, original and unique to brighten up your home or workspace and to support a whole community of artists and printmakers. Artists will be offering high quality work, with prices suitable for everyone’s budget.

The variety of established artists who will be displaying their work at the fair will include LPW members and Upper Floor Artists, who make their work at LPW: Amelia Bown, Andrew Morgan, Beach, Caroline Bilson, Emma Fitzpatrick, Emma Gardner, George Sfougaras, Gregory Millar, Helen Bulmer, Jay Seabrook, Jean Edwards, Karoline Rerrie, Lesley Brooks, Richard Jarvis, Sarah Kirby & Serena Smith besides many more artists from across the UK. The full list of exhibiting artists is available on our website at www.leicesterprintworkshop.com/about_us/news/253/

The weekend will also see the launch of LPW’s sixth international mini-print exhibition, and their first online exhibition, Small Print 6.

For the sixth edition, artists were invited to create work inspired by the first Aerogramme.  The exhibition was devised before the tumultuous events of 2020 unfolded, a year that has shaken our notions of communication to the core, and forced all of us to find new ways to communicate. Framed in this this new context, each image in the exhibition can be seen as a personal postcard, a series of original and unique visual messages from all over the world. Each print comes in a very limited edition and all work will be for sale from Saturday 28 November at 10am.
